About the studio
Neaptide is an independent studio with three directions: web development, growth (GEO/AEO and SEO) and AI consulting. We work remotely, worldwide, in six languages.
History
It all began in 2009, when Dmitry Filippov and a partner launched an IT consulting company where he led the internet promotion practice. That practice later became a separate company, Edge Promo, under his leadership. Over the years the team delivered a wide range of commercial and non-commercial promotion projects.
In 2026 the company was renamed Neaptide and given a new philosophy — wu wei, action without strain — along with a modern stack (Next.js, React, WebGL, LLM) and full-cycle web development alongside promotion.
Today, alongside classic SEO, we do GEO (Generative Engine Optimization — also known as AEO and LLM SEO) ourselves, inside the studio: optimizing for AI answers so that ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews find a brand, name it and cite it as a source. A complement to SEO, not a replacement.
Founder
The studio was founded and is run by Dmitry Filippov — an entrepreneur who has worked in search optimization since 2007. New technology has always drawn him in, so today he is building the business where marketing meets artificial intelligence.
